PT. Pusan Manis Mulia was established in 1975 as a bubble gum manufacturer, but in the intervening years through the dedication, drive and initiative of the management, and every member of the staff, has rapidly expanded and is now the major manufacturer of confectionery in Indonesia, producing a full spectrum covering bubble gum, chewing gum, compressed candy, hard candy, soft candy, jellies and chocolate. Continually looking at ways to improve efficiency and contain costs we have in recent years opened a dedicated chewing and bubble gum base manufacturing facility, the only one in Indonesia and one of very few in South East Asia.

Situated on 5.3 hectares, our factory occupies an area of 10,000 square metres with currently 2,300 employees. With the Indonesian population now standing at 230 million, most with limited disposable income, our product portfolio is aimed at the middle to low end to ensure volume, and thus allow a maximum number of our fellow countrymen and women, and our many overseas consumers to purchase and enjoy our products. Although we have over three hundred specialised machines, many high speed wrapping types; in keeping with our corporate social responsibility, and the pressing need to provide employment we continually strive to seek a balance between automation and the opportunity to create jobs.

Through our Research and Development facility and in-house food technologist, we focus on innovation, variety and the production of high quality products to ensure consistency and the highest safety standards.

Our products are sold across the vast archipelago of what is Indonesia through a wide network of Distributors, our Partners, most having been with us and grown with us for many years. Internationally, we currently export to more than 60 countries on all continents. Where required, and in keeping with regulations pertaining to individual international markets, in particular to language and ingredient requirements, upon advice and discussion these can be facilitated. Additionally, dependent on volume and the market, we have the flexibility to make adjustments to our product specifications, particularly as to packaging, and within prescribed parameters produce product under a specified brand name. Bearing in mind the current fluid world economy we have not included prices but are more than willing to provide these upon application and believe, from experience, you will find them more than competitive.
